I. Introduction to performance:
PES has excellent thermal properties and oxidation stability. It has been certified by UL for continuous use at 180℃ that it is insoluble in polar solvents such as ketones and some halogenated hydrocarbons, and meets the UL94V-0 flame retardant requirements. It is resistant to hydrolysis, most acids, bases, fatty hydrocarbons, alcohols, oils and lipids, and has good toughness, rigidity and wear resistance, higher hardness, and outstanding electrical properties. In addition, the products are featured with good weather resistance, flame retardant and low smoke density, good electrical properties, transparent, amorphous resin, and small mold shrinkage. PES can be processed into high tolerance and thin wall products. The resin meets FDA requirements and can be used in food contact parts.
II. Application fields:
1. Electrical and electronic industry: mainly include coil skeleton, contactor, switch parts, lamp frame base, battery and battery cover.
2. Automotive manufacturing industry: the main lights of reflective parts, peak temperature of 200℃, and aluminum alloy reflective devices. There are also electrical connectors, electronic, electromechanical control components, seat frame, window, face mask, water pump and oil pump, etc.
3. Aviation field: polyether sulfone has excellent radar ray transmittance. At present, the radome has been used to replace the epoxy parts in the past.
4. Medical and health field: polyether sulfone parts are featured with hydrolysis resistance, and disinfectant solvent resistance, and they can be applied to the handle for operating room lighting assembly centrifugal pump surgical device.
5. Lighting and optical field: include reflector, signal lamp. The polyether sulfone parts are transparent in color, stable to UV, and can be used outdoors for a long time.
6. Kitchen utensils: include coffee maker, egg maker, microwave device, hot water pump, etc.
7. Coating industry: for coating additives.
